Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model American actor. After becoming famous through his performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature movies like The Core. In addition to his work in Road Trip, he's appeared in over 22 TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma, which he was diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is a fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer has gone into Remission. Treatment at a young time had negative effects on his body. It hindered his development. At the time he started to act, financial stability appeared to be his objective. He'd experienced poverty during his childhood. Interviewer stated that as he had lived so sparingly for such a long time I was in need of financial stability to feel in control. He also looks back at his youth and hopes to address the issue of bullies. He is a victim of cruelty and is heartbreaking for him. The man says his ideal role would be to portray dads in reality and in film. Yet he confesses "Directors don't cast my in those roles." One day he'd like to have a child of his own when he would be able to spend more time to his work and more time with his children.
